For all of those lucky people going to Bestival next week, don’t forget your handy guide to all that’s happening at the Festival with our app which can be downloaded from the app store here.

Next week, the app’ will be updated with all the latest news from the Hon. Rob da Bank and the Sunday Best team! The app will also contain the schedule from 7th September which you can personalise, an interactive map and some vouchers to save you some dosh whilst there! There are are also pics and vids of your fave bands twitter feeds etc – a festival must have!

The app was developed for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and JavaME handsets.

It may be raining outside but this summer has seen some great weather and some even better festivals here in the UK! With partners Live App’s, Spoonfed and dare, we created app’s for a large number of the Relentless festivals, as well as The Secret Garden Party, Bestival and, Cannes Lions Festival (dare project – gutterbarometer).

We also undertook a big project for the Sonisphere festival, creating app’s which covered 13 events in 11 different countries, all of which are powered by our new custom built cms. This cms allows the app’s to keep up to date with the latest info’ and, provides organisers with a real-time couponing service for their festival goers.

The app’s also include interactive maps, exclusive news, videos, pics and podcasts and, the ability to send event messages to twitter. The festival app’s (bar gutterbarometer and SGP) are developed for all major handsets including iPhone, Android,  BlackBerry and JavaME enabled handsets.

Working with the talented team at Marvellous and Diageo Ireland, we developed a very cool (excuse the pun) 3D game for Bud Ice, Below Zero.

The 3D game (for iPhone and iPad) puts the user in control of the flow of Bud Ice beer down the ice cold pipe. The timed game allows you to collect points as you go, as well as dodging obstacles such as ice blocks which could slow you down. You can then post your score to the leaderboard or your facebook page.

The app’ also has a handy bar finder function so that users can find the bars which serve their favourite drink (Ireland only) and, also filter their searches for free wi-fi, beer gardens, big screen etc.

So, if you are looking for somewhere great to meet your friends and drink a nice cold Bud Ice beer this summer, why not download this app’ and have some fun!
